Fully Enclosed Protection for Dependable Performance
The GOWUTAR EP-30 is a fully enclosed reflex sight designed to keep dust, moisture, debris, and changing weather conditions away from the internal emitter. Its enclosed housing provides dependable visibility and consistent performance for everyday carry, duty use, range training, and demanding outdoor environments.
Durable 7075-T6 Aluminum Housing
Machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and protected by a hardcoat anodized finish, the EP-30 combines rugged durability with reliable impact resistance. Its construction is tested to withstand up to 1500G of shock while maintaining dependable performance under recoil.
With an IPX7 waterproof rating, the optic can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter, giving shooters added confidence in rain, wet conditions, and unpredictable environments.
ACRO Footprint with RMR and MOS Adapter Plates
The EP-30 uses the Aimpoint ACRO mounting footprint for direct installation on compatible handgun slides and mounting systems.
For greater platform versatility, the package also includes:
- One RMR adapter plate
- One Glock MOS adapter plate
The included adapters allow the EP-30 to fit pistols with an RMR-cut slide and compatible Glock MOS models.
Compatibility Notice:
1. The included MOS adapter does not fit Glock 43X MOS or Glock 48 MOS.
2. The supplied RMR adapter plate is designed specifically for the EP-30 and may not be compatible with other ACRO-footprint optics.
Clear 3 MOA Aiming Point
The precise 3 MOA red dot provides a practical balance between fast target acquisition and aiming accuracy. At 100 yards, 1 MOA corresponds to approximately 1 inch, making the 3 MOA reticle suitable for close-range engagement, defensive applications, and general range use.
The 21.98 × 16.06 mm lens features a fully multi-coated surface to improve light transmission and provide a clear, defined sight picture. The optic offers 1× magnification and unlimited eye relief, helping shooters acquire the dot quickly from different shooting positions.
10 Brightness Settings with Night Vision Compatibility
The EP-30 provides 10 brightness settings, including:
- 8 daylight settings
- 2 night-vision-compatible settings
Use the ▼ and ▲ buttons to increase or decrease brightness.
Pressing both buttons simultaneously switches directly to night-vision-compatible brightness level.
The wide brightness range makes it easier to maintain a visible aiming point in low light, indoor ranges, bright daylight, and changing outdoor conditions.
Motion Activation with Brightness Memory
Once activated, the EP-30 automatically enters sleep mode after approximately 240 seconds of inactivity, helping conserve battery power.
When movement or vibration is detected, the optic quickly wakes and returns to the previously selected brightness setting. This motion-sensitive illumination system keeps the sight ready while reducing unnecessary battery consumption.
Operating Note: Motion Activation must first be enabled by manually turning on the optic. It automatically turns off when the sight is manually powered down.
Long Battery Life and Accessible Battery Compartment
Powered by one CR2032 battery, the EP-30 provides an estimated battery life of 160 to 50,000 hours, depending on the selected brightness level and operating conditions.
The externally accessible battery compartment makes routine battery replacement straightforward. The threaded battery cover helps protect the compartment while maintaining the optic’s enclosed design.
Precise Windage and Elevation Adjustment
The EP-30 provides windage and elevation adjustments in approximately 1 MOA per click. Both adjustment axes offer a range of ±45 MOA, providing a total adjustment range of approximately 90 MOA.
The optic is factory preset at approximately 33 yards, but final zeroing should always be completed after installation on the firearm.
