GOWUTAR GP-7 Large Window Red Dot Sight for RMR Footprint, 6 MOA Pistol Competition Optic

Unrivaled Clarity, Unmatched Speed - Reliability in Every Shot.

Built for fast target acquisition and confident tracking, the GOWUTAR GP-7 combines an expansive 26.3 × 22.16 mm viewing window with a highly visible 6 MOA red dot. Its open reflex design provides a broad, unobstructed sight picture that helps shooters find the dot quickly while maintaining awareness of the surrounding field of view.

With an RMR-pattern mounting interface, Motion Awake technology, 10 brightness settings and a rugged aluminum housing, the GP-7 is optimized for competition and fast-paced range training.

A Wider Window for Faster Shooting

When speed matters, finding the dot should feel immediate. The GOWUTAR GP-7 features an expansive 26.3 × 22.16 mm window, giving shooters more usable viewing area during the draw, recoil recovery and transitions between targets.

The open design minimizes visual obstruction around the optic and supports both-eyes-open shooting. This helps maintain situational awareness while tracking moving targets or engaging multiple targets during competition and dynamic range drills.

Fast, Uncomplicated 6 MOA Aiming Point

The GP-7 is equipped with one clearly defined 6 MOA red dot. The larger aiming point is easier to acquire than a small precision-oriented dot, helping reduce the time spent searching for the reticle during rapid presentation.

Ten adjustable brightness levels help maintain appropriate dot visibility across different environments:

8 daylight brightness settings

2 night-vision-compatible settings

RMR-Pattern Mounting Interface

The GP-7 uses an industry-standard RMR-pattern footprint. It can mount to compatible RMR-cut slides or appropriate RMR adapter plates, making it a practical option for many full-size optic-ready pistols.

Because mounting systems, screw lengths and slide specifications vary between firearm manufacturers, customers should verify the footprint and hardware requirements of their specific setup before installation.

Motion Activated and Ready to Respond

Motion Awake technology helps extend battery life without sacrificing readiness. After approximately four minutes of inactivity, the red dot automatically turns off. Movement wakes the optic and restores the previously selected brightness setting.

This allows the GP-7 to remain ready for competition, training and regular range use while reducing unnecessary battery drain between sessions.

Top-Loading CR1632 Battery

The top-access battery compartment allows the CR1632 battery to be replaced without removing the optic from the pistol. Because the sight can remain mounted during battery replacement, there is less disruption to the established zero.

Depending on brightness level, usage frequency and operating conditions, estimated battery life ranges from 160 to 40,000 hours.

Lightweight Strength and Reliable Zero Retention

The GP-7’s 6061 aluminum housing balances durability with a manageable 45 g / 1.59 oz weight. Its shock-resistant construction is engineered to tolerate repeated recoil and help maintain zero through demanding shooting sessions.

An IPX7 waterproof rating provides additional protection against rain, splashes and temporary water exposure, making the GP-7 suitable for changing range and outdoor conditions.
