Intelligent Dual Power System
The GR23 gives shooters the flexibility to choose between two operating modes:
Auto Mode – Solar Power Only (default)
- Solar power supply only, battery will NOT compensate for power under auto mode.
- Even without a battery, the sight can still operate normally as long as sufficient ambient light is available.
Manual Mode – Solar and Battery Power
- Battery and solar cell Two-way power supply: based upon the ambient lighting level, the sight will switch between battery and solar cell power for operation in all lighting conditions.
- If the battery is removed or depleted, the GR23 automatically returns to Auto Mode.
Hold both "＋" and "－" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch between auto mode and manual mode (if the reticle flashes twice, the power mode conversion is done).
Automatic Brightness Adjustment
Under auto mode, the brightness is automatically adjusted to match ambient lighting.
Manual Brightness Adjustment
Under manual mode, there are 10 adjustable brightness levels (8 daylight and 2 night vision) to adapt to different lighting conditions.

Its base shares the Aimpoint Micro mounting standard, allowing it to be paired with other compatible aftermarket mounts when a different mounting height or configuration is required.
Shake Awake Technology
Motion Activated. Instantly Ready.
Once activated, the GR23 monitors movement automatically. After approximately four minutes of inactivity, the reticle turns off to conserve battery power. As soon as the optic detects movement, the dot returns at the previously selected brightness level.
This combination of automatic sleep and rapid wake-up helps deliver dependable readiness while extending battery life up to 50,000 hours, depending on brightness settings and usage conditions.
Side-Loading Battery Compartment
The side-loading battery compartment provides convenient access to the CR2032 battery without requiring removal of the optic from the firearm. This makes battery replacement faster and helps simplify optic maintenance.
