The GOWUTAR HHC17R Color Anodized Red Dot Sight is designed for shooters who want their optic to stand out while retaining the essential features required for dependable everyday use.
Its compact housing is precision-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in a selection of distinctive anodized colors. At only 28 g / 0.99 oz, the optic adds minimal weight to a compatible handgun while delivering a clear 21 × 16.4 mm viewing window.
Clear, Uncomplicated Aiming
The HHC17R is purpose-built around a single 3 MOA red dot. The clean aiming point supports quick visual pickup while remaining precise enough for controlled shooting at practical distances.
Fully multi-coated glass helps improve light transmission and reduce distracting reflections. Unlimited eye relief allows the shooter to acquire the dot naturally from different shooting positions.
Adjustable for Changing Light
The HHC17R provides 10 brightness settings:
8 daytime brightness levels
2 night-vision-compatible settings
Use the brightness adjustment buttons to select a suitable intensity for the surrounding environment. The optic remembers the previously selected brightness level when reactivated by movement.
Ready When Motion Is Detected
Shake Awake technology helps balance readiness with battery conservation. After approximately four minutes without movement, the red dot automatically turns off. Once the sight detects movement, it rapidly powers back on at the last-used brightness setting.
The Shake Awake function becomes active after the optic is manually powered on. Manually powering off the sight also disables motion activation.
Convenient Side-Loading Battery
The HHC17R is powered by one CR1632 battery and offers an estimated battery life of 160 to 40,000 hours, depending on the selected brightness level and operating conditions.
Its side-access battery tray allows the battery to be replaced without removing the optic from the mounting surface, helping preserve the existing zero.
Built for Real-World Use
The lightweight aluminum housing is engineered to withstand recoil, changing weather and demanding range use. An IPX7 waterproof rating protects the optic in water up to one meter, while its 1500G shockproof rating supports reliable performance on compatible platforms.
Windage and elevation adjustments provide a total range of 90 MOA, with each adjustment mark representing 1 MOA.
