Product Features
Bring a clear aiming reference to your pistol with the GOWUTAR GP-V. This compact open reflex sight combines a 3 MOA red dot, a fully multi-coated lens, and a durable 7075-T6 aluminum housing for range practice and everyday use.
With motion activation, 10 brightness settings, and a side-access battery compartment, the GP-V makes it easy to adjust your sight to changing light and replace the battery without removing the optic.
Docter/Noblex Mounting Interface
The GP-V fits compatible Docter/Noblex slide cuts and adapter plates. Some pistols require a separate adapter plate. Check your pistol’s mounting interface before ordering to ensure a proper fit.
3 MOA Red Dot with a Fully Multi-Coated Lens
The GP-V pairs a 3 MOA red dot with a 24.1 × 17.3 mm lens window, giving you a compact sight picture for pistol shooting. Its 1× magnification and unlimited eye relief support comfortable viewing without a fixed eye position.
The fully multi-coated lens supports a clear view of your target. Adjust the dot to a brightness that remains easy to see without overwhelming the sight picture.
Brightness Control for Changing Light
Choose from eight daytime brightness levels to suit your surroundings, from an indoor range to a bright outdoor setting. Two additional low-output settings support passive aiming with compatible night vision equipment.
Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to adjust brightness. The night vision settings are intended for use with a separate night vision device and do not provide night vision on their own.
Shake Awake with Brightness Memory
Once the sight is manually powered on, its motion activation function is enabled. After 240 seconds without movement, the red dot automatically switches off to conserve battery power.
Movement wakes the sight and restores the previous brightness setting. Manually switching the sight off also disables motion activation until it is powered on again.
Side Battery Access for Easier Maintenance
The GP-V uses one CR1632 3V battery, housed in a side-access compartment. Battery replacement does not require removing the optic from its mount, helping you avoid unnecessary changes to your mounting setup.
Battery life ranges from approximately 160 to 40,000 hours, depending on the brightness setting and operating conditions.
Durable Construction for Outdoor Use
Built from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, the GP-V features a hardcoat-anodized finish for a durable exterior. Its IPX7 waterproof rating, specified for immersion up to 1 meter, and 1500G shock-resistance rating support use in wet conditions and demanding shooting environments.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the GP-V fit every optics-ready pistol?
No. The GP-V uses the Docter/Noblex footprint. Your pistol must have a matching mounting interface or a suitable adapter plate. An optics-ready slide alone does not guarantee direct compatibility.
Do I need to remove the sight to replace the battery?
No. The side-access battery compartment lets you replace the CR1632 battery while the sight remains mounted.
Does the GP-V turn on automatically when moved?
Yes, after it has been manually powered on and entered motion-activated sleep mode. If you manually turn the sight off, movement will not reactivate it.
Is the GP-V compatible with night vision?
The GP-V has two low-brightness settings for passive aiming with compatible night vision equipment. A separate night vision device is required.
