The GOWUTAR HHC17R is a lightweight RMSc red dot sight designed for concealed-carry pistols, compact handgun setups and everyday range use. Weighing only 0.99 oz, it combines a crisp 3 MOA red aiming point, motion activation, a side-loading battery and a rugged aluminum housing in a carry-friendly profile.

Its RMSc footprint mounts directly to compatible optic-ready slides, while the included low-profile Picatinny mount expands its use to compatible Picatinny rail platforms. 

Compact RMSc Footprint for Carry Pistols

The HHC17R uses the industry-standard RMSc mounting footprint, making it a practical micro red dot sight for compact and subcompact pistols with a compatible optic cut. Its compact 40.65 × 26 × 26.4 mm body and 0.99 oz weight help preserve the balance and handling of an everyday-carry handgun.

Crisp 3 MOA Red Dot

The precise 3 MOA dot dot provides a balanced aiming point for concealed carry, home defense and range training. It is small enough for controlled aiming while remaining quick to acquire at practical handgun distances.

Ten brightness settings: eight daylight levels and two night-vision-compatible levels, allow the reticle intensity to be adjusted for changing environments.

Shake Awake Motion Activation

Built-in motion-sensing technology automatically turns the illumination off after approximately 240 seconds without movement. When the optic is moved, the red dot quickly returns at the previously selected brightness level.

This Shake Awake red dot sight remains ready for use while helping extend CR1632 battery life. Battery runtime varies from approximately 160 to 40,000 hours depending on brightness level, operating habits and environmental conditions.

To activate Shake Awake, turn the sight on manually. Manually powering the optic off also disables motion activation.

Side-Loading Battery, Maintain Your Zero

The side-accessible CR1632 battery tray allows the battery to be replaced without removing the optic from the slide. This convenient design reduces maintenance time and helps preserve the existing zero after a battery change.

Rugged for Everyday Use

The HHC17R housing is constructed from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and rated for:

• 1500G shock resistance
• IPX7 water resistance at depths up to 1 meter

This rugged construction ensures reliable performance in demanding conditions.

Picatinny Mounting Option

The included low-profile Picatinny mount allows the HHC17R to be configured for compatible rifles, shotguns, and other rail-equipped platforms.

Yes. At only 0.99 oz, the HHC17R is designed as a compact, lightweight red dot for concealed carry and everyday use. 

Does the HHC17R have Shake Awake?

Yes. After approximately four minutes without movement, the reticle enters sleep mode. Movement wakes it at the previously selected brightness.

Do I need to remove the optic to replace the battery?

No. The side-loading CR1632 battery tray allows battery replacement without removing the sight, helping you maintain zero.

Is the Picatinny mount included?
